The insurance intermediary does not hold direct or indirect interests of more than ten percent in the voting rights or capital of an insurance company, nor do insurance companies or parent companies of insurance companies hold a direct or indirect interest of more than ten percent in the voting rights or capital of the insurance intermediary. The agency receives a commission for brokering products and, where applicable, benefits from insurance companies.
